With the Portland Trail Blazers facing elimination after blowing multiple second-half leads, lineup adjustments are now being considered, according to Sean Highkin.

One of the clearest options would be giving backup center Robert Williams III a bigger role.

Second-year big Donovan Clingan has struggled throughout the series, both against Victor Wembanyama and in minutes when the San Antonio Spurs’ star is off the court.

In contrast, Williams has arguably been one of Portland’s most impactful players over the first four games.

Head coach Tiago Splitter left the door open to changes without committing to anything specific.

“We’ve got to see all the options,” he said.
