The Portland Trail Blazers have let back-to-back second-half leads slip away in Games 3 and 4, leaving them facing elimination in the series.
Despite the difficult position, head coach Tiago Splitter insists his team won’t back down, as noted by Joe Freeman of The Oregonian.
“We’re still alive,” Splitter said. “And we’re going to fight. This group is a special group. They’re going to keep fighting.”
However, with the San Antonio Spurs getting consistent contributions across the roster, especially with Victor Wembanyama back in action, there are questions about whether Portland’s resilience alone will be enough to turn the series around.
