Just two weeks removed from an emergency appendectomy, Joel Embiid has rejoined the Philadelphia 76ers lineup.
He is set to play in Game 4 of their first-round playoff series against the Boston Celtics, who currently hold a 2-1 advantage.
Throughout the season, Embiid battled a number of health setbacks but seemed in good condition entering the postseason.
Shortly before the Play-In Tournament, he developed symptoms that were initially thought to be a minor illness, but doctors later determined it was appendicitis, requiring urgent surgery.
