GARY NEVILLE admitted he would be “fuming” if Mo Salah had made his managerial comments as a Manchester United player.
The Egyptian superstar is set to exit Liverpool at the end of the season but he’s making his thoughts known as he heads for the door.
Salah, 33, slammed Arne Slot‘s playing style as he called for a return to the “heavy metal” attacking football more comparable to ex-boss Jurgen Klopp.
Sky Sports pundit Neville, 51, said: “He’s pulled the pin out of the grenade there, hasn’t he? And just thrown it in the middle of the room.
“I mean, he’s on his way out of the room by the way.
“If he was a Manchester United player, I’d be fuming.

“But what you can never do with this type of character or this type of personality, this stature of player is keep them quiet.
“If they’ve got something to say, they’re gonna say it and they’re going to say it at the point when you don’t want to hear it.”
The Reds sit fifth in the Premier League and have yet to qualify for the Champions League next season after missing out following their 4-2 loss to Aston Villa on Friday.
It’s not the first time that the Liverpool star has hit out at Slot after his blockbuster December interview where he told all about their fragmented relationship.

Neville added: “Slot will not welcome that whatsoever, but I think he’ll just want to get to the end of the season.”
The former Man Utd ace said that Slot will be counting down the days until the end of the season so he can begin to concentrate on the players that will be starting next season in a Liverpool shirt.
And Salah is not one of those players.
Having been critical of Slot in the past, Neville changed his tune after Xabi Alonso was unveiled as Chelsea’s next manager.
He said: “I think Liverpool are going to keep their manager next season, which I’m happy about.
“I genuinely think that a manager who won the league 12 months ago deserves the opportunity to get it right having had a somewhat challenging season this time.”
Neville reminded viewers that they still look likely to qualify for the Champions League.
But he quipped: “It’s for Liverpool to worry about their own problems, I don’t think they need Gary Neville telling them what to do.
“But it was a telling comment from Mo Salah and something that won’t be helpful.”
