
Potential first-round pick Cameron Carr of Baylor University has announced he will enter the NBA draft, according to Jonathan Givony of DraftExpress.
Carr put together a strong junior season, averaging 18.9 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game while shooting 38 percent from beyond the arc.
The 6-foot-5 guard, who played only 18 games during his first two college seasons at University of Tennessee, plans to stay in the draft and will not enter the transfer portal.
He is currently ranked No. 24 overall by ESPN.
Meanwhile, Meleek Thomas of University of Arkansas is also declaring for the draft but will keep his college eligibility, as reported by Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
Thomas had an impressive freshman season, averaging 15.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game, while shooting 41.6 percent from three-point range.
He is currently ranked No. 28 on ESPN’s draft board.
