Four Irish athletes won medals at the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham.
Sarah Healy said that crossing the line in fifth in last night’s 15-hundred metres left her “a bit frustrated.”
It was another memorable evening for heptathlon gold medalist Kate O’Connor and 15-hundred metres bronze medalist Andrew Coscoran as their medal ceremonies took place.
Their success followed Mark English’s gold in the 800 metres and Rhasidat Adeleke’s silver in the 200 metres.

Hunt also helped teammate Dina Asher-Smith to a record eighth European title as she crossed the line in the mixed 4 by one hundred metre relay.
