Head coach Quin Snyder has earned recognition for guiding the Atlnta Hawks through a midseason turnaround, writes Ken Segiura of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

After injuries disrupted their original plans and several major trades reshaped the roster, Atlanta found its rhythm late, finishing the regular season with a 20-6 record after the All-Star break – one of the league’s best marks during that stretch.

Guard CJ McCollum credited Snyder for his ability to adapt and maximize the evolving roster.

“He’s done a great job just adjusting to the personnel,” McCollum said of Snyder. “We’ve changed and really looked at our team, how we play, how certain guys’ games have evolved over the course of the season, which also happens.

“We’ve added stuff, we’ve taken stuff out, we’ve kind of evaluated what works, what doesn’t work and what’s going to work for this group.”
