Yesterday, Arsenal reduced the deficit to early pace setters Manchester City to three points with a hard-fought 0-1 victory away to Nottingham Forest.
Substitute Noni Madueke’s deflected strike in the 80th minute was enough to seal the three points for the Gunners.
Elsewhere, Leeds came from a goal behind to draw 1-1 with Manchester United at Elland Road.
Brighton continued their fine start to the season with a 5-0 win against Crystal Palace.
And a 2-0 defeat of Sunderland moved Bournemouth out of the relegation zone.
