Several NBA players with non-guaranteed or partially guaranteed contracts for the 2026-27 season are approaching important salary guarantee deadlines that could influence offseason roster moves around the league.

Under NBA rules, players with non-guaranteed deals typically receive full guarantees if they remain on a roster through January 7.

However, many contracts contain earlier trigger dates that either partially or fully guarantee salaries months before then.

Teams and players can also negotiate extensions to those guarantee dates if both sides agree, giving organizations additional flexibility during free agency and roster planning.

Among the notable upcoming deadlines, Buddy Hield’s salary with the Atlanta Hawks becomes fully guaranteed on June 25, while Jonathan Isaac and Bronny James also have major guarantee increases later in June.

Other players with key dates include Jonas Valanciunas, Kris Dunn, Kyle Filipowski, Scotty Pippen Jr., and Ajay Mitchell.

The list is expected to grow throughout the offseason as additional contracts, team options, and partial guarantees become finalized across the NBA.
