The Orlando Magic head into Game 5 of their first-round playoff series against the Detroit Pistons with a chance to close out the matchup on the road. Tip-off is set for Wednesday, April 29, at Little Caesars Arena, with Orlando holding a 3-1 series advantage.

The latest injury report introduces uncertainty on both sides ahead of the elimination matchup for Detroit. Key rotation availability remains a central storyline as both teams prepare for a high-stakes playoff setting.

Orlando forward Jonathan Isaac is listed as doubtful due to a left knee sprain. His defensive presence and frontcourt versatility have been limited throughout the series, and his status remains unresolved entering Game 5.

Franz Wagner is listed as questionable with a right calf strain. Wagner has been one of Orlando’s most efficient two-way contributors in the postseason, averaging 16.8 points per game while shooting 43.9% from the field.

His availability is closely monitored given his role in secondary creation and perimeter defense alongside Paolo Banchero and Desmond Bane.

On the Detroit side, guard Kevin Huerter is also listed as questionable. He is dealing with a left adductor strain and right hamstring soreness, which could impact backcourt depth in a must-win situation.

Detroit’s injury situation comes at a critical moment, as the team attempts to extend the series after trailing 3-1.

The Magic enter Game 5 with Paolo Banchero averaging 21.0 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 6.3 assists in the playoffs. Desmond Bane has added 19.0 points per game while spacing the floor with consistent three-point shooting.

Detroit is led by Cade Cunningham, who is averaging 29.5 points and 7.5 assists in the series. Tobias Harris and Jalen Duren have also provided consistent interior production across four games.

Orlando has controlled the series behind defensive execution and rebounding stability, holding Detroit to 88 points or fewer in two of the last three games. The Pistons, meanwhile, responded with their lone win in Game 2 at home.
