After Jaylen Brown was sent to the Philadelphia 76ers, it is fortunately surprising that LeBron James landed with the same team.

The 76ers front office obtained Brown in exchange for 36-year-old Paul George, a controversial trade due to its unequal value for the Boston Celtics.

With acquiring Brown, it became a major factor for the four-time champion to decide which teams he would sign with.

The former Celtics forward expressed excitement about sharing the court with one of the greatest players of all time.

“We got Bron, and like what an opportunity that is…my favorite thing to do is to learn. I love learning. So to have the opportunity to learn from one of the if not the greatest player of all time…I get an opportunity to on the court and off the court, learn and gather experiences that can accumulate to my own knowledge base,” Brown said via Twitch stream.

Brown also discussed some thoughts about his former team after 10 seasons, and he also wore the 76ers jersey during the stream.

“I’m more inspired to win…I’ve been a little bit disrespected in this process from people that I thought valued me…I want to win more than anything. It feels weird wearing a different jersey, I ain’t gonna lie, but here we are,” he added.

The Celtics earned their first title in 2024 after more than a decade, with Brown leading the charge and winning the Finals MVP.

The 29-year-old veteran wing averaged 28.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game during the previous season.
