The former Paris Saint-Germain superstar was so enraged that he grabbed the slip that had the actual substitution written down.

And the Brazilian waved it in front of the camera to show that it was actually No31 Gonzalo Escobar who was supposed to make way.

However, Neymar and Santos’ protests didn’t pay off as the club legend was still forced to come out for Robinho Jr.

The Brazilian giants went on to lose 3-0m to Coritiba following a brace by Breno Lopes and Josue’s penalty-kick.

Home fans were left fuming at full-time following the intense encounter that also saw Santos losing Alvaro Barreal to a red card.

So much so that the officials required police protection after full-time as one fan threw a hamburger in their direction.

Neymar is hoping to be included in Brazil’s 2026 World Cup squad despite not receiving a call-up since 2023 following a string of injuries.

Selecao manager Carlo Ancelotti will announce the roster on Monday and didn’t rule out a return for the Champions League winner.
