Chris Finch, head coach of the Minnesota Timberwolves, shared optimism during a Sunday appearance on KFAN FM 100.3 that Anthony Edwards could return later in the playoffs if the team can keep its run alive without him for now.
“We do know that if we keep extending this playoff (run), he is going to come back,” Finch said, via Charlie Walton. “And he generally comes back ahead of the timeline.”
Edwards is currently listed as week to week as he recovers from a hyperextended knee along with a bone bruise, but the team believes there’s a realistic path for his return if they can continue advancing.
