Despite some uncertainty about the team’s competitive timeline, Anthony Davis spoke positively about his experience with the Washington Wizards so far.
According to reporting that included Chase Hughes of Monumental Sports Network, Davis said his prior perception of the franchise did not match reality and highlighted several positives within the organization.
“The organization is a very good organization. Ted [Leonsis] is a great owner, the coaching staff and the players, their development. Obviously, the city is phenomenal,” Davis said.
Washington also has reason for optimism moving forward, with strong draft positioning and a young core that includes players like Alex Sarr and Kyshawn George.
