Shane Lowry will be reunited with a former caddie for this year’s Travelers’ Championship, which gets underway this afternoon.
Dermot Byrne will be back on his bag this week, having last supported Lowry on the course in 2018 – in what’s been described as a short-term arrangement.
The 2019 Open winner confirmed his split with caddie Darren Reynolds after last week’s US Open – in which, Lowry failed to make the cut.
He tees off at TPC River Highlands shortly after 2pm this afternoon.

The KPMG Women’s PGA Championship also gets underway this lunchtime, with Lauren Walsh among the early starters.
She tees off at Hazeltine at 1pm Irish time, with Leona Maguire and Stephanie Meadow are among the evening starters.
