Scotland and South Korea are now among the teams waiting to learn their fate at this year’s World Cup.
The pair are both hoping to be one of the tournament’s best third placed teams, after losses last night.
Scotland were defeated 3-0 at the hands of Brazil, with Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior bagging two.
Manager Steve Clarke says they still have a gap to close on the world’s best teams – despite reaching major tournaments back to back:
Meanwhile, Korea suffered a surprise 1-0 defeat to South Africa – Bafana Bafana made history by reaching the knockout stages for the first time ever.
Elsewhere, Morocco secured their passage with a 4-2 win over Haiti, Switzerland topped Group B, beating Canada 2-1.
Qatar are out after a 3-1 loss to Bosnia, while Czechia’s tournament is over after they slumped to a 3-0 loss against co-hosts Mexico
