Golden State hosted Michigan forward Yaxel Lendeborg at Chase Center on Thursday as part of its pre-draft process ahead of the No. 11 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft. The workout comes as the Warriors continue evaluating multi-positional forwards in a class defined by depth on the wing.

Anthony Slater reported the session, describing Lendeborg as an older, physically developed wing with plug-and-play traits. He noted the forward remains a legitimate option for Golden State at No. 11, with additional lottery prospects expected to visit San Francisco in the coming days.

Lendeborg’s development path began at Arizona Western in the NJCAA, where he produced high-efficiency production across three seasons. In 2020–21, he averaged 6.1 points and 7.1 rebounds in 19.2 minutes per game while shooting .714 from the field.

His role expanded significantly in 2021–22, posting 12.0 points, 11.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game on .607 shooting across 31 appearances. He followed with a breakout 2022–23 season, averaging 17.2 points and 13.0 rebounds while shooting .727 from the field and .438 from three in 33 games.

Across his NJCAA career, Lendeborg finished with 13.2 points, 11.2 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game on .679 shooting, establishing an interior dominance profile marked by elite finishing efficiency and consistent rebounding production.

At the Division I level, Lendeborg continued his upward trajectory at UAB before transferring to Michigan. Over his final collegiate seasons, he expanded his perimeter role while maintaining efficient scoring and rebounding impact.

In 2025–26 at Michigan, he averaged 15.1 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game while shooting .515 from the field and .372 from three on 4.5 attempts per game. He also posted an .824 free-throw percentage.

Golden State enters the draft at No. 11 after finishing 37–45 and missing the postseason in the Western Conference play-in tier.
