The Minnesota Timberwolves reportedly understand that keeping Anthony Edwards satisfied will be one of the organization’s biggest priorities moving forward.
According to Darren Wolfson of KSTP, there is internal concern about the possibility of Edwards eventually asking out if the franchise fails to meet expectations.
“But it’s about satisfying Ant,” Wolfson said. “The fear is, that at some point, does Ant through his representation, Bill Duffy and others, signal a desire to be elsewhere?”
Wolfson added that the Timberwolves are not close to that situation yet, though the possibility still exists in the background.
“We are nowhere near that point, but the fear is there.”
The Timberwolves ultimate fear is Anthony Edwards requesting a trade, per @DWolfsonKSTP
