Russell Westbrook saw his season with the Sacramento Kings come to a disappointing close, as the team finished tied for last in the Western Conference, and he ended the year dealing with an injury.
Even so, he is interested in coming back next season. When asked about his future, Westbrook made it clear he would be willing to return if the organization wants him.
“If I’m welcomed back, then I’ll be back,” Westbrook said when asked if he’d return to the Kings for another season.
The experienced guard joined Sacramento just before the regular season began and went on to play 64 games.
Over that span, he averaged 15.2 points, 5.4 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 1.3 steals per game.
