ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI traced every inch of the Camp Nou pitch in his dying moments as a Barcelona star on Sunday night.
The Poland international left the ground just past midnight after spending hours reliving his past four years with the club.
Lewandowski, 37, announced this weekend that he will depart the club with his contract due to expire this summer.
While Blaugrana put up a strong performance to beat Real Betis 3-1, the standing ovation came with the striker’s second-half substitution.
Speaking to thousands of home fans in the Spotify stadium, Lewandowski said: “For me, it’s a very exciting and very difficult day.
“When I arrived at Barcelona, I knew this club was big, but because of your affection it has been incredible.”

And the love for Lewandowski was off the charts in his last fixture.
The teary-eyed Pole donned the captain’s armband and danced his final performance as the stands chanted his name throughout the game.
He then welcomed his wife, Anna, onto the pitch with tears streaming down her face and their two young children.
Lewandowski, who will not make a 2026 World Cup appearance, said: “From the very first day, in Barcelona and also on this pitch, I felt at home.

“I’ll never forget when you chanted my name. I’d like to say thank you to my teammates, to the coaches, and to everyone who works at this club. It has been an honour to play for this club.
“We’ve lived great moments over these four years. I feel very proud of everything I’ve done and everything we’ve done together.
“Today, I say goodbye to this stadium, but I will always carry Barcelona in my heart.”
The departing star scored 119 goals for the club and won three LaLiga titles since signing from Bayern Munich for £39million in 2022.
In his final season wearing the blue and red shirt, the Pole helped to wrap up the league and finish 11 points ahead of El Clasico rivals Real Madrid.
Following the full-time whistle, a huge Barcelona banner was rolled out revealing the words ‘Robert, everything started with you’.
And he was given a guard of honour when he left the pitch nearly 20 minutes later.
