It’s understood Martin O’Neill has agreed terms to become the permanent manager of Celtic on a one-year deal.
The 74-year-old held talks will principal shareholder Dermot Desmond yesterday.
O’Neill had two interim spells in charge at Celtic Park last season – guiding them to the Scottish Premiership title on the final day.
