The Toronto Raptors and Cleveland Cavaliers open their first-round Play-In series on Saturday at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, with availability issues already shaping Game 1 expectations.

Toronto enters the matchup with Immanuel Quickley listed as questionable due to a right hamstring strain. His status remains the key swing factor in the Raptors’ backcourt rotation.

Quickley averaged 16.4 points and 5.9 assists across the 2025-26 regular season, providing primary playmaking alongside Toronto’s core scorers. His shooting profile also stretches defenses, hitting 37.4% from three.

Toronto finished the regular season 46-36 and has already controlled the season series against Cleveland, winning all three meetings. That includes two double-digit victories in November.

The Raptors rely heavily on Brandon Ingram and Scottie Barnes, who combined for more than 39 points per game during the regular season. Their production becomes even more important if Quickley is limited or unavailable.

On Cleveland’s side, Thomas Bryant has been ruled out with a left calf strain, removing frontcourt depth behind Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley.

Cleveland also confirmed that Tristan Enaruna, Riley Minix, and Olivier Sarr are unavailable due to G League two-way status.

The Cavaliers finished the regular season 52-30 and enter Game 1 with continuity issues in their second unit. That places added pressure on Donovan Mitchell and James Harden to control possession flow.

Mitchell averaged 27.9 points per game, while Harden contributed 20.5 points and 7.7 assists, forming the primary offensive engine in Cleveland’s half-court structure.

Evan Mobley remains the key interior anchor at 18.2 points and 9.0 rebounds per game, and his defensive versatility becomes critical against Toronto’s pick-and-roll actions.

Game 1 now carries added weight beyond the series opener, as both teams enter with rotation limitations that could define early momentum in a tightly matched postseason battle.
