New Cleveland Cavalier Peyton Watson thinks that his versatility can help get the roster over the hump.
(via Ultimate Cleveland Sports Show):
Mike Lucas: “When the Cavs were selling you on this vision, and when you see yourself with the core four that they’ve already established — Don [Mitchell], James [Harden], Evan [Mobley], and Jarrett [Allen], why do you think you’re the missing piece to this Cavaliers organization?”
Watson: “I just think the versatility that I bring to the game, being able to do a lot of things on both ends of the ball, and just making our guys who already like you said, the core four have been here, just making their job a little bit easier. I know that I’m somebody who could really bring that intensity on the defensive end, and then I’m really multifaceted on the offensive end. I could play with the ball in my hands, with the ball out of my hands, cutting, moving, screening. So, I think that I’m just gonna be the perfect person to bridge that gap here and bring a lot of the things that we need to get us over that hump.”
