Norway are calling on Fifa president Gianni Infantino to resign following his attempt to sell off stakes in the World Cup to private investors.

The Norwegian football federation have gone further than those in England, Wales, Croatia and Albania.

They’ve all withdrawn support without explicitly calling for him to quit.

But Mexico and Argentina still back Infantino who also has the support of the African Confederation, CAF.

Atletico Madrid are reportedly in talks with Tottenham Hotspur captain Cristian Romero.

The Argentine international – who reached the World Cup final with his country last month – is expected to leave the London side this summer.

The BBC reports that Inter Milan are also interested in the centre back, however Romero has been a “long-term” target for the Spanish side.
