England will be hoping for a strong finish against India on the final day of the first women’s Test match at Lord’s.
At the World Cup, focus turns towards the semi-finals while preparations continue for the Open at Royal Birkdale and two new Premier League managers will hold press conferences.

Heather Knight and Tammy Beaumont set for Lord’s farewell
The historic first women’s Test match at Lord’s is set to finish on Monday, which will also see the final international appearance of former England captain Heather Knight as well as Tammy Beaumont. You can follow all the action from the home of cricket on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Cricket from 1030am.
After a successful T20 series for the men’s side, Harry Brook’s team will switch attention to the one-day series against India, with a press conference at Edgbaston from 11.30am, the day after it was announced Brendon McCullum was leaving his role as Test head coach.
There is also the second ODI between West Indies and New Zealand in Guyana, which is live on TNT Sports from 7pm.
Over the jumps and on the flat
There is horse racing with afternoon meetings at Ayr and over the jumps Newton Abbot ahead of evening cards at Lingfield and Windsor. You can follow the action on Racing TV from 1.45pm and Sky Sports Racing at 2pm.
What else is happening on Monday?
At the World Cup, England will look to regroup and go again following their extra-time quarter-final win over Norway. There is set to be a mixed-zone media opportunity at the squad’s base camp in Kansas City as Thomas Tuchel sharpens focus towards a semi-final showdown with Argentina in Atlanta.
France and Spain also continue their preparations ahead of Tuesday’s semi-final in Dallas, with training and media activities.
Closer to home, new Liverpool boss Andoni Iraola will be holding a press conference on Monday morning, while Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso will speak at Stamford Bridge from 3pm.
Ahead of the Open at Royal Birkdale, there will be interview opportunities with England’s Tommy Fleetwood and Matt Fitzpatrick as well as American duo Jordan Spieth and Wyndham Clark.
