Sharlene Mawdsley has been forced to withdraw from next week’s European Championships due to a hamstring tear.
She sustained the injury at the National Championships, and has lost her race for fitness ahead of the competition.
The Tipperary sprinter had been selected for the Women’s 400 metres, and the 4 by 400 relay event.
