Lamar Odom strongly disagrees with ESPN’s ranking of the NBA’s top 100 players, particularly the order of the biggest stars at the top of the list.
ESPN placed Nikola Jokic at No. 1, followed by Victor Wembanyama, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Luka Doncic and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Jalen Brunson came in sixth, a position Odom believes is far too low after Brunson won a championship.
“How you gon’ be six if you won a championship?” Odom questioned.
“Gotta be one or two,” the longtime Laker added.
Odom offered his own order when asked how he would rank the leading players. He put Brunson first, followed by Wembanyama, Gilgeous-Alexander, Jokic and Antetokounmpo.
Despite disagreeing with ESPN’s rankings, Odom acknowledged how difficult it is to separate players of that level.
“It’s hard. They’re all great.”
