Houston Rockets superstar Kevin Durant has spoken highly of new teammate Bogdan Bogdanovic following their opening training camp sessions, highlighting the Serbian guard’s dedication and intensity on the practice court.
Bogdanovic is preparing for a fresh start in Houston after a difficult previous campaign marked by recurring injury problems. Despite those setbacks, the veteran has already caught Durant’s attention with his approach to daily workouts.
“Bogi, I knew he was a worker, but to see the pace he goes at and how hard he goes every rep, it inspires me. It makes me go harder. He’s been through a lot of injuries and a lot of difficult situations, and he still approaches every day like he’s a rookie that’s so excited to play again,” Durant said after practice.
The Serbian international arrived in Houston after the Los Angeles Clippers decided against exercising their $16 million team option, allowing him to continue his NBA career with a new organization.
Bogdanovic appeared in just 23 games last season, averaging 7.4 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists while shooting 38.8% from the field and 34.7% from beyond the arc.
