Kerry Para Badminton Club has been recognised as one of 30 grassroots sports clubs nationwide to benefit from the SPAR and EUROSPAR Community Fund.
The club was celebrated at a regional presentation in Cork today, Thursday, September 24th.
The initiative will distribute more than €60,000 to clubs across Ireland, supporting facilities, volunteers and opportunities for young athletes.

The presentation at the Kingsley Hotel was attended by double Olympic rowing champion Fintan McCarthy, Paralympic swimmer Róisín Ní Riain and fellow Team Ireland athletes Nicola Tuthill, Sharlene Mawdsley and Andrew Coscoran.
The fund forms part of SPAR and EUROSPAR’s sponsorship of Team Ireland ahead of the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles.
