James Harden has agreed to a new three-year, $97 million contract to remain with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The deal includes a player option and a trade kicker, his agents Mike Silverman, Troy Payne and Brandon Grier of Equity Sports told ESPN.

The new agreement will push Harden’s career earnings to approximately $511 million.

That will make him just the fourth player in NBA history to surpass $500 million in career salary, joining the 76ers’ LeBron James, the Rockets’ Kevin Durant and the Warriors’ Stephen Curry.

Harden will turn 37 next Wednesday, Aug. 26.

Once the 11-time NBA All-Star officially signs the contract, he will also become only the second player in league history to receive more than $90 million in guaranteed salary on a deal signed at age 37 or older.

LeBron is the only other player to accomplish that feat.
