According to Mundo Deportivo, Ioannis Sfairopoulos and Paolo Galbiati are among the main candidates to take over Barcelona’s bench at the end of the season.

Pascual arrived during the campaign to lead the Catalan side, but the partnership will come to an end sooner than expected.

Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, Pascual confirmed that he will leave Barcelona once the season is over.

Several names have already been linked with the position, including Ibon Navarro, Vassilis Spanoulis, and even Zeljko Obradovic.

However, the latest reports indicate that Sfairopoulos and Galbiati are currently among the strongest options to replace him.

Galbiati has earned recognition for his work with Trento and further boosted his reputation this season after taking charge of Baskonia and leading the club to the Copa del Rey title.

Sfairopoulos, meanwhile, offers extensive experience at the highest level.

The Greek coach previously led Olympiacos to a EuroLeague final, later worked with Maccabi Tel Aviv, and most recently coached Crvena zvezda before departing after the opening two rounds of the EuroLeague season.
