LeBron James’ move to the Philadelphia 76ers has drawn a playful reaction from singer-songwriter Hilary Duff, who joked about the NBA star’s history of changing teams.
James joined Philadelphia following a lengthy free-agency saga, making the Sixers the fourth franchise of his career and marking the fifth time he has joined a new NBA team.
During her Lucky Me Tour stop at Philadelphia’s TD Pavilion on Sunday, Duff compared her travels between cities to James’ NBA journey.
“We started in Florida, went to LA, we’ve ended up here [in Philadelphia]. I’m starting to feel like LeBron!” Duff told the crowd.
Duff’s tour began in West Palm Beach, Florida, before later reaching the Los Angeles area and Philadelphia.
The route loosely mirrors several of James’ NBA destinations, although Cleveland isn’t included on her schedule.
The remark appeared lighthearted, with Duff poking fun at James’ multiple moves throughout his career as he begins his latest chapter with the 76ers.
