Sharlene Mawdsley has confirmed she has suffered a hamstring injury, just weeks out from the European Athletics Championships.
The Tipperary sprinter pulled up during the 200 metres final at the National Track and Field Championships in Santry on Saturday.
Mawdsley posted on social media confirming the news, adding that she is doing everything possible to recover quickly.

She has been included in the 20-person Ireland squad heading to Birmingham next month.
