Oklahoma City bounced back in typical fashion Sunday night, cruising past Indiana 123-107 in Game 2 of the NBA Finals to even the series at 1-1.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led all scorers with 34 points, surpassing 3,000 combined points on the season and overtaking Jalen Brunson as the 2025 postseason scoring leader.

The Thunder guard also added eight assists and five rebounds in the wire-to-wire victory, played in front of a deafening home crowd that consistently registered over 100 decibels.

Alex Caruso came off the bench with 20 points on 6-of-11 shooting, including 4-of-8 from beyond the arc.

Oklahoma City’s bench outscored Indiana’s 45-44, but it was the efficiency and momentum swings powered by the Thunder’s second unit that shaped the game’s outcome.

Jalen Williams scored 19, Aaron Wiggins added 18 on five made threes, and Chet Holmgren contributed 15 points and six boards for the top seed in the West.

The turning point came midway through the second quarter.

Leading 33-27, the Thunder unleashed a 19-2 run that stretched their advantage to 23 points, capped by a Caruso triple that brought the crowd to its feet.

Indiana cut the lead to 13 early in the third after Andrew Nembhard’s layup, but Oklahoma City quickly regained control and never allowed the margin to fall below double digits again.

Tyrese Haliburton finished with 17 points and six assists, but was limited to just two free-throw attempts and committed five turnovers.

Myles Turner had 16 points, while Pascal Siakam scored 15 on 3-of-11 shooting. The Pacers have yet to produce a 20-point scorer through two Finals games.

The Thunder, now 18-2 this season following a loss—including regular season and playoffs—reasserted their identity after a narrow 111-110 defeat in Game 1.

Sunday’s win marked the franchise’s first NBA Finals victory since 2012.

Oklahoma City shot 48.8% from the field and made 14 of 36 from deep, while hitting 29 of 33 free throws. They also outrebounded Indiana 43-35 and committed two fewer turnovers.
