The Waterford kingpins – who lost last year’s final – beat Limerick champions Na Piarsaigh 0-18 to 0-15 in a quarter-final tie at the Gaelic Grounds.

The champions of Meath and Kildare progressed to the next round of the Leinster senior club football championship this afternoon.
At Pairc Tailteann, Summerhill got the better of Killoe Young Emmets of Longford by 2-22 to 1-16.
And in Aughrim, Athy strolled past Baltinglass of Wicklow by 3-16 to 10 points.

Reigning All-Ireland Ladies Club football champions Kilkerrin-Clonberne will play in the Connacht final this season.
The Galway club beat Westport of Mayo in the semi-finals by 1-17 to 2-7.
They will face St Brigids of Roscommon in the decider.
In Camogie, Loughiel of Antrim booked their spot in the final of the Ulster Championship with a 7-11 to 5 point win over Slaughtneil of Derry.
Meanwhile Wexford’s Oulart The Ballagh (PRON: Ballack) and Dicksboro of Kilkenny will play in the Leinster final.
They beat St Vincents of Dublin and Offaly’s Birr in their respective semi finals this afternoon.
