Brandon Ingram’s status headlines Cavaliers vs Raptors Game 6 injury report

The Cleveland Cavaliers enter Game 6 with a clean injury report, while the Toronto Raptors face a much trickier availability picture ahead of Friday night’s elimination game at Scotiabank Arena. Cleveland leads the series 3-2, so Toronto needs a healthy answer fast to keep its season alive.

The biggest question is Brandon Ingram, who is listed as questionable with inflammation. That matters because Toronto’s wing scoring has already taken a hit, and Ingram’s playoff production has been uneven at 12.0 points per game on 32.8% shooting.

Immanuel Quickley is out with a strain, removing another guard option from Toronto’s rotation. That forces even more pressure onto Scottie Barnes, RJ Barrett and Jamal Shead to create offense against a Cavaliers defense that has had the better of the matchup in key stretches.

Cleveland’s availability list is blank, which gives the Cavaliers a full rotation for a closeout chance on the road. That is a major edge in a series where the Cavaliers have leaned on James Harden, Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley to supply the bulk of the production.

Harden has averaged 22.0 points and 6.2 assists in the postseason, while Mitchell has added 23.2 points per game. Mobley has been steady too, posting 17.6 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists, giving Cleveland a reliable front line behind its perimeter creators.

Toronto will need a strong response from Barnes and Barrett if Ingram is limited or unavailable. Barnes has averaged 24.0 points and 8.0 assists in the playoffs, and Barrett has been even more efficient at 24.4 points per game on 53.5% shooting.

The recent form also leans toward a hard-fought finish. Cleveland won Game 5 at home, 125-120, after Toronto took Games 3 and 4, 126-104 and 93-89, showing the Raptors can still make this series uncomfortable if their top scorers are available.
