Ex-Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal faced his former team, together with the Los Angeles Clippers, as James Harden and Kawhi Leonard took charge to get their blowout win in their second game of the season.
The three-time NBA all-star has acknowledged his teammates who played stellar performances, especially Harden, who went off with 30 points, seven assists, and seven boards.
Beal opened up regarding how he admired Harden’s approach to the game ever since, as he has always been known as a bucket-getter who helps his team win.
“I love it. Because I’ve always been a fan of his, and watching him from afar. Competing against him, obviously. I was always a huge fan of how he approaches the game. How he approaches his craft. He works on his game; he’s a tremendous worker. And it shows,” Beal said.
He also said that the former MVP is a very unselfish player, as evidenced by his ability to make plays while scoring back and forth, and believes that Harden is a Hall of Famer.
“I think the biggest thing is how unselfish of a player he is. I get to see that firsthand, and it’s been unbelievable. I’m just happy to be here. He’s an unbelievable Hall-of-Famer. Two of them [Kawhi] over there. So I get to embrace that and continue to help out any way I can,” Beal added.
As the Clippers are currently stacked with new veterans and superstars such as Chris Paul, Brook Lopez, this season, Beal looks forward to attaining his first title and finals appearance.
Before he went with the Suns for two seasons, the 6-foot-4 sharpshooter was drafted by the Washington Wizards in 2012 and spent 11 seasons, also known for his duo with John Wall.
