Miami Heat forward Bobby Portis believes joining the franchise alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo provides an ideal opportunity for both players to continue pursuing NBA championships.
Having previously played together with the Milwaukee Bucks, Portis is pleased that he and Antetokounmpo have reunited in Miami, particularly because of the organization’s focus on competing for titles rather than rebuilding.
“It’s not like I’m going to a situation guys aren’t trying to win, we’re gonna tank mid season and get a high draft pick.
“It’s like a match Made in heaven for me and Giannis tbh because we want to win championships. – what better franchise to do it for than here.”
