Partizan Mozzart Bet has added experienced forward Bandja Sy on a short-term contract as the club looks to strengthen its roster during a difficult injury period.
The 36-year-old returns to Belgrade after previously playing for Partizan between 2018 and 2019.
Sy has already spent time with the team during preseason, meaning he should be familiar with the squad as he begins his second spell with the Serbian club.
Partizan needed additional depth because several players are currently unavailable.
Captain Vanja Marinkovic continues his recovery from Achilles surgery, while Derek Willis and Joffrey Lauvergne are dealing with ankle and calf injuries.
Sy won the Radivoj Korac Cup twice during his previous stint with Partizan. Since leaving Belgrade, he has represented several clubs, including MoraBanc Andorra, Metropolitans 92, Paris and CSM Oradea.
He has also played for AEK, LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne, SLUC Nancy and Elan Bearnais during his career.
The veteran brings EuroLeague and EuroCup experience to Joan Penarroya’s roster. Sy has appeared in 35 EuroLeague games and was part of the Paris team that won the BKT EuroCup.
Partizan opened the 2026-27 EuroLeague season with a 1-0 record and now faces a demanding double-game week.
