Harry Kane is celebrating becoming the first English winner of the Ballon d’Or in 25 years.
The England captain was presented with football’s most prestigious individual prize at a ceremony in London.
Kane had an incredible season where he scored 73 goals for country and club Bayern Munich.
He beat off competition from Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappe and Barcelona star Lamine Yamal.
Alexia Putellas has won the Ballon d’Or Feminin for a record-equalling third time.
The former Barcelona captain led the Spanish side to a continental quadruple last season, including the Champions League – and was named player of the tournament.
Putellas – who now plays for London City Lionesses – draws level with Aitana Bonmati on three Ballon d’Or awards.
