Last night, Nick Griggs lost one of his shoes finishing 8th in the final of the men’s 5-thousand metres.
Norwegian superstar Jakob Ingebrigtsen (pr: ya-cub in-ge-britts-in) produced a sensational final sprint to take the gold.
Brian Fay finished 13th, while Darragh McElhinney crossed the line in 18th.
Nicola Tuthill threw a season’s best 70-point-zero-9 metres to qualify for Wednesday’s final in the women’s hammer throw.
Eric Favors came 10th in the men’s shot put.
Sarah Lavin missed out on a place in the semi-finals of the women’s 100-metres hurdles, finishing sixth in her heat.
