MATHEUS CUNHA put Manchester United 2-1 up against Nottingham Forest following a controversial VAR call.
Referee Michael Salisbury was sent to the monitor after Forest players were left up in arms following a possible handball from Bryan Mbuemo.
Diogo Dalot crossed to Mbeumo before his strike pinballs off two defenders before falling to Cunha who fires it into the far corner.
BUT there was a possible handball in the build-up to the goal where Mbeumo controls it with his hip before it comes off his arm.
Fans were cautious to celebrate inside Old Trafford as it looked to surely be ruled out.
VAR took three minutes before sending Salisbury to the monitor.

And he came to the decision that it was not intentional.
Gary Neville said on Sky Sports: “I think that is an absolute shocker in every single way. It’s ridiculous.

“VAR looked at it for three minutes and then the referee looks at it for another minute.
“They are overthinking it. They have got themselves into a real mess there.”
On announcing the goal, the referee said: “After review, the decision of goal stands because the handball offence is accidental, therefore the final decision is goal.”
The Premier League Match Centre added on X: “After VAR review, the referee stuck with the original decision to award a goal to Manchester United.”
Just over 20 minutes later, Mbeumo a third as hopes faded for Forest who have already had a pretty rough season.
But a masked Morgan Gibbs-White found the back of the net two minutes later to revive some hope for the Midlands’ outfit.
Luke Shaw opened scoring in the fifth minute and Morato had scored to cancel it out.
But even a point here for Man Utd would have meant that they will finish third in the Prem.
They have already been assured they have a ticket to the Champions League next season.
Meanwhile, 16th-placed Forest look to have done just enough to survive in top-flight football – helped out by their struggling counterparts West Ham and Tottenham.
