Shane Lowry is waking up this morning as a two-time Irish Open champion.
The Offaly golfer rounded off an incredible performance over four days in Doonbeg with a final round 63 to finish on 23-under-par.
Lowry finished a record 11 shots clear of Joaquin Niemann and Patrick Reed.

He last won the tournament as an amateur in 2009 and he says that the people around him have been crucial throughout an up-and-down year on the course.
Tom McKibbin produced a strong showing to finish on ten-under-par and in a tie for fifth place.

Rory McIlroy went around in 67 yesterday as he ended his tournament on one-under-par.
