Partizan officially confirmed the signing of Lamar Stevens late Wednesday, adding another new arrival to its roster after the American spent last season with Paris Basketball.
Following the addition of Kevarrius Hayes, the Belgrade club has brought in another player from France’s LNB, with Stevens agreeing to a two-year contract.
The Serbian side had a relatively quiet start to the offseason, with most of the early activity focused on departures.
Hayes became the club’s first confirmed signing on Sunday, and Stevens has now joined him as Partizan continue to strengthen the squad ahead of the new season.
Stevens began his professional career with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2020 before later spending time with the Boston Celtics, where he was part of their championship-winning season before being traded to the Memphis Grizzlies.
After his stint in Memphis, the versatile forward moved to Paris last summer.
Capable of playing both small forward and power forward, Stevens appeared in 23 games for the French club, averaging 19 minutes, just over nine points, and three rebounds per contest.
