The Oklahoma City Thunder and Los Angeles Lakers enter Game 3 of the Western Conference Semifinals with availability concerns that directly affect rotation depth and late-game execution at Crypto.com Arena.

According to the official NBA injury report, both teams are dealing with multiple key absences and one significant game-time decision that could shape lineup balance on Saturday night.

The Thunder will be without Jalen Williams, who is ruled out due to a left hamstring strain, removing a high-efficiency scorer who has averaged 20.5 points in limited playoff action. Oklahoma City also remains without Sorber Thomas, who is out following right ACL surgery recovery.

The absence of Williams places more offensive responsibility on Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who has carried a 29.2 points per game average through six postseason outings. His scoring load becomes even more critical given Oklahoma City’s reduced wing creation.

For the Lakers, the biggest setback remains the continued absence of Luka Doncic, who is sidelined with a left hamstring strain. His playmaking and isolation scoring have been missing throughout the series, forcing structural adjustments across the backcourt and wing rotations.

The Lakers continue to lean heavily on LeBron James, who is averaging 23.6 points, 7.8 assists, and 6.1 rebounds in the postseason.

Another key note on the Lakers injury report is Jarred Vanderbilt, who is listed as questionable due to a right finger dislocation.

From a tactical standpoint, Oklahoma City’s injury situation reduces wing depth, but their defensive structure has remained stable through the series. The Thunder have limited the Lakers to 97 and 107 points in the first two games, controlling pace and transition defense.
