Garrett Temple of the Toronto Raptors shared a lighthearted moment about his current role, explaining that his son has been curious about why he isn’t playing as much anymore.

His wife helped explain the situation by pointing out the natural shift toward younger players, even pulling up old highlights to show his past impact.

“My wife explained to him, ‘Daddy has played for a long time. So now, the younger guys are really good and it’s their time to play. Do you want to see video of when Daddy was playing a lot?’ So, we pulled up some YouTube clips.”

Temple has played 16 seasons for 12 teams, including the Wizards and Raptors. He has averaged 5.8 points and 2.2 rebounds in 793 regular-season games.
