The National Basketball Association has fined Nikola Jokic $50,000 for his involvement in an on-court incident during Saturday’s playoff game between the Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves.
With just 1.3 seconds remaining and Minnesota holding a comfortable lead, Jokic sparked the confrontation by shoving Jaden McDaniels.
The moment quickly escalated as additional players got involved, leading to Jokic’s ejection from the game.
Despite signs that multiple players may have stepped off the bench during the scuffle, the league chose not to issue any suspensions, limiting discipline to a financial penalty.
