The paternity situation has now been clarified, with Paul Pierce confirming that he is the father of Princess Santiago’s child.
Court filings obtained by TMZ show that Pierce acknowledged he is the biological parent of 2-month-old King Rafael Santiago Pierce and is seeking shared legal and physical custody.
Santiago, however, is pursuing sole custody, along with $29,811 per month in child support, $100,000 in legal costs, and nearly $19,000 in pregnancy-related expenses after filing her case in California earlier this year.
In her request, she also referenced Pierce’s substantial NBA career earnings, estimated at nearly $200 million, to support her claim for the proposed financial arrangement.
