Center Isaiah Jackson has been upgraded from questionable to probable for Wednesday’s play-in matchup against the Golden State Warriors, the Los Angeles Clippers announced.

Jackson joined the Clippers in February as part of the trade involving Ivica Zubac.

At first, he didn’t see much playing time, but that changed in early March when he began getting consistent minutes behind starting center Brook Lopez after Yanic Konan Niederhauser suffered a season-ending foot injury.

His momentum was interrupted on March 27, when he sustained a right high ankle sprain, forcing him to miss the final eight games of the regular season.

If Jackson is cleared to play, it remains uncertain how the Clippers will use him right away.

The team could bring him back into the rotation, but it’s also possible they continue leaning on John Collins and smaller lineups when Lopez is off the court.
