4 Kerry players are named in the Munster squad for Round 2 of the Vodafone Women’s Interprovincial Championship.
Annakate Cournane, Emma Dunican, Ava O’Malley and Andrea Murphy are all on the bench for the game at home to Ulster tomorrow at 2.30 in Virgin Media Park.
Matt Brown has named an unchanged front row as last week’s player of the match, Beth Buttimer, packs down with Siobhán McCarthy and Eilís Cahill.
In the engine room, Aoibhe O’Flynn joins Jane Clohessy as Clodagh O’Halloran shifts to the back row alongside Sally Kelly and Grace Moore.
Brown has opted for an unchanged back line for this weekend’s clash as Emily Lane continues at scrum half and is accompanied by Enya Breen at out half.
Lucia Linn and Alana McInerney are once again this weekend’s centre partnership while Chisom Ugwueru and Katie Corrigan take up their places on the wings.
Aoife Corey will continue as full back and is named captain for the very first time in the absence of Maeve Óg O’Leary who has picked up a minor knock.
UL Bohemian’s Ava O’Malley and Blackrock College’s Andrea Murphy are set to make their debuts off the bench this weekend. O’Malley, Emma Dunican, Tuathla Ryan, Alisha Flynn and AnnaKate Cournane provide the forwards cover with Abbie Salter-Townshend, Caitríona Finn and Andrea Murphy providing cover for the backline.
